Restaurant and Dining at the estate

Yes, our restaurant is a seasonal restaurant which is open from October until end of May. However for small dinner functions during our winter season we are able to accommodate a group as of 10 persons. We also offer Private Dinners in our Historical Manor house dining room for more personalized and intimate gatherings which is for maximum 10 persons.

Electricity and Load shedding

We have ensured that there is a back up generator for the hotel to make sure that essential services can continue running. Running water, internet, outdoor lighting, in-room lighting, and Access to property.

Can you assist with transfers and tours?

Yes, our team is happy to help you decide on places to visit during your stay with us. We can also arrange for a shuttle service to tour you around the area, however, Uber is active in the area and very reliable

What is the nearest shopping centre?

For extensive shopping we recommend visiting the malls closer to Cape Town such as Canal Walk, Cape Gate or Waterfront. We do however have a smaller scale shopping mall in our town called Paarl Mall.

Are there nearby Golf Courses?

Please have a look at Boschenmeer or Pearl Valley golf course which are between 10 and 15 minute drive from De Leeuwenhof Estate. Should you wish to book a tea time, please contact them directly.

Do you offer babysitting services?

Yes, we offer experienced child-minding services on request and at additional costs.

Can you accommodate specific dietary requirements?

Yes, upon booking please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements so that we can ensure that your needs are catered for.

Are there any SPA Facilities available?

We can offer our guests in a in-room spa treatment from a reputable company that will come to our hotel to pamper you.

Do I need a vehicle during my stay at de Leeuwenhof Estate?

It is essential to have your own form of transportation as there are no places to go within walking distance. We are on the outskirts of Paarl and to get to wine-estates or places of interest you will need a vehicle.

Early check – in

Early Check – in is only possible subject to availability, and a surcharge may apply. Alternatively, you are welcome to leave your suit-cases in our reception and visit some of the wineries nearby so that we can get your room ready as swiftly as possible.

Late check – out

Late Check – out is only possible subject to availability and with ample notice given to the reception, a surcharge may apply to accommodate the request.
