Last year, we gave De Leeuwenhof a delightful makeover. Our once light, warm yellow building has been transformed into a stunning example of the authentic Cape Dutch white color. This classic hue not only enhances the estate's traditional charm but also reflects the timeless elegance of our surroundings.

Upgraded Comfort

We’ve also refreshed our rooms to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. New tiled patios have been added, offering a stylish and functional space to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or relaxing after a day of exploration, these upgrades provide an inviting and serene environment.

Rebuilding and Renewal

In early April 2024, a devastating storm hit our estate, but we have since worked hard to restore and enhance our grounds. New trees, flowers, and hedges have been planted, bringing a vibrant touch to our landscape and creating a lush, welcoming atmosphere.

Enhanced Outdoor Spaces

Our tea garden now features a new tent, providing shelter from both the sun and rain. This addition ensures that you can enjoy your tea and snacks in comfort, regardless of the weather. Whether it's a sunny afternoon or a light spring shower, you’ll be protected while you savor the tranquil surroundings.

Sustainable Energy Solutions

In our commitment to sustainability and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests, we’ve installed a solar system. Although we’ve been fortunate to avoid load shedding from Eskom since the start of winter, we’re taking proactive steps to ensure that power interruptions don't impact your stay. Our solar system ensures that you can enjoy uninterrupted comfort and convenience during your visit.
